Since setting up Stags Farm Agency in 2002, Alex Rew has been a driving force in establishing Stags as the leading seller of land and farms throughout the West Country. As department head, he also co-ordinates a network of farm valuers across Stags’ regions and chairs the Professional Services Department, which deals with advice to farmers and land owners. A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers, Alex has been responsible for developing the Farm Agency department’s highly effective marketing strategies and buyer profiling, which consistently achieves the best possible prices for vendors. In fact, over the past ten years, when Stags has acted jointly with national agents to sell a farm, in over 90% of the sales Stags has been directly responsible for finding the buyer. An exceptionally experienced rural surveyor and valuer, Alex deals with the valuation and sale of all types of property, including country houses, farms, and agricultural land. Alex grew up on a farm in Devon and has a degree in Land Management from Reading University.
